- Now take a pan, add sugar & water. Then switch onn the gas and wait till the sugar gets melted. Now add the kaaju powder into it.
- Mix them well & cook it in a low flame for about 10 mins. Now add ghee, elaichi powder & cook it for 5 mins again untill the mixture gets accumulated in one place or the mixture starts sticking to the pan. Now take a plate, grease it with some ghee. Then pour the kaaju mixture over it, let it cool down a bit, then Knead it to make a smooth dough.
- Now divide the dough into two parts, keep the red dough small in size, the ratio of the dough should be 40:50. Add red colour in the smaller dough & green colour in another dough. Knead both the dough seperately to form a smooth dough.
- Make small balls out of both the colour. But the red balls shoud be a size smaller than the green one. Now roll the green one thick, nearly half inch thickness & place the red ball inside it, as a stuffing.
- Now seal the edges to make perfect rounds as shown in the image. Make the remaining balls in the same manner. Now keep them inside a tiffin box & put the balls in a freezer for 10 mins.
- Now remove the balls from the freezer & cut them into 4 equal parts. Now sprinkle some sesame seeds over it as seen in watermelon…
- Your watermelon-shaped sweets are now ready.
