The ingredients needed to make Teriyaki Tofu:
- Take Tofu (280g Tofoo Co.)
- Get Sake (Sherry, Cider etc.)
- Get Dashi-stock (water is fine)
- Take Soy sauce
- Make ready Sugar
- Prepare Mirin (if you have)
- Prepare Salt/Pepper/corn starch and some oil for frying
- Make ready Start with 2 tbsp each and add them if you need. Maybe more for the sauce
Steps to make Teriyaki Tofu:
- Slice the Tofu in 4 peaces (1cm thick, approx.) Salt and pepper. Dust the starch.
- Medium heated and put a little oil in a frying pan. Fry the Tofu. Pour the stock/Sake, and Soy sauce/sugar. Add mirin nearly the end.
- More sauces, if you need.
- Or, mix all ingredients together before hand, if you like. Then add some more, when you think needed. Any method is fine!
