Heat one tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add one more tablespoon of oil if the bottom of the pan is not fully covered. Cut each sandwich in half to give four rectangles. Heat a large, non-stick frying pan until medium-hot and fry the sandwiches in the dry pan until gorgeously golden-brown and crusted on each side.

  1. Heat up cooking oil in a pan. Throw minced shallots and garlics into the pan and cook till it a little bit brown.

Throw about a TBSP of butter into the pan on med heat. Once melted, toss in your sandwich. If your butter turns brown or smokes, your pan is too high. Once both sides are done, take out of pan, cut in a diagonal slice, sprinkle on powdered sugar and serve immediately. Wash off fillets and pat dry with a towel.
