Steps to make Carrot Chutney:

- heat a tsp of oil in pan add red chilli fry bit take and keep aside. In the remaining oil add urid dal and channa dal and fry till it changes colour drain and keep aside. - - 2. In same oil add ginger and carrot saute till carrot become soft. If you want sprinkle little water. - - 3. Let it cool for sometimes and grind into smooth and silky paste with fried dal, chilli and tamarind. Adjust salt. - - 4. Temper this with mustard, urid dal and curry leaves. - - 5. It goes well with idli and dosa.
