Just pour the mixture into a glass or metal pan (make sure not to over fill as it will expand as it freezes!) every couple of hours scrape it from the top down, (we use a fork) it'll have the texture of a snow cone. Do this a couple of times. After the second time put it in a freezer safe container with a lid. Should keep in the freezer for a few months.
Instead, it's more like eating a flavorful and refreshing snow cone, or shaved ice. Is Sorbet Healthier Than Ice Cream. Store-bought sorbet usually has more sugar than ice cream, but in this case, homemade watermelon sorbet is naturally-sweetened and dairy-free. We were able to have watermelon sorbet in the middle of winter simply by thawing the mixture and placing it in the ice cream machine and preceding with the recipe as follows. Made my first batch for this summer today and my hubs is a very happy man.
